So scary this morning to wake up in San Diego. Last time the fires hit, I was living in Escondido and could not drive down to the radio station because of the freeway closures, and yet I did not feel threatened by the fires. And now I wake up Monday morning and everything is just crazy. My parents may evacuate in Mira Mesa, my old High School is shelter, and where I live now in North Park, we have taken in my roommates Mom, Grandma, and Aunt who had to evacuate from Poway. Really scary, surreal, and weird. Please be safe, and take care.

From last Sunday to now, my sports week has pretty much sucked. Not that I have not thoroughly enjoyed the MLB Playoffs or College Football yesterday. Last Sunday saw my Chargers lose to the Chiefs at home, Monday saw the Padres lose to the Rockies in a one game playoff, and Yesterday saw my college team USC lose to Stanford on a last second touchdown and interception. So my sports week has sucked pretty bad. Please Chargers, Please win against the Broncos today. There is little satisfaction in this world like calling Nardo after the Chargers beat the Broncos. Best feeling in the world.
