My Cardigan Welsh Corgi has gone on to be with all the other very loved dogs over the rainbow bridge, but he is certainly not forgotten! I remember meeting him when he was just 24 hours old - and already had personality! He was the largest of his litter of 9 puppies from a wonderful local breeder. We (my life partner that died of complications of diabetees 3 years ago) went to see him every Sunday until we got to bring him home. Loverboy had no seperation issues from his other littermates - and no problem taking rides in the car! As he grew and we took him to every single dog park that we could find in San Diego, he touched many lives and brought joy to everyone that met him. Soon, we got him involved in Flyball - a fantastic dog sport that he adored! That doesn't mean that he always did it well, but his enthusiasm made up for it! Here's to Cardiff's Loverboy Bandito!!

My Dogs
I have 3 wonderful dogs - for this week at least. I have an 11 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Loverboy that I will have to put to sleep on Saturday. He is lame and has a neurological issue that is now starting to cause mild seizures. We had a party for him on Saturday at the park where some of my wonderful friends came and gave him lots of love and goodies! I also have a 12 pound Liver & Tan Chihuahua named Suki-Sue that thinks she is about 100 pounds! My other dog is Pebbles, a 4 1/2 pound tri color Chihuahua. I never liked small dogs before, but these two are a lot of fun! One feels that she has to protect the house, and the little one is like a spare appendage - stuck to me like glue all the time!!! I will post pictures soon!
