Today's Topic: "Make the best out of a bad situation"

Well hiiii, I hope you had a great weekend?  Mine was okay . . . Yesterday I had to go to Traffic School for a speeding ticket I got on the 4^th of July.  Blaaaaaah..... So I pretty much wanted smash my alarm clock in the wall  at 7:45am when it went off on a Sunday morning.  I showed up to this stuffy, kinda smelly small room in the back of this shopping center.  The look on everyone's faces, made me realize they all didn't want to be there anymore than I did.

The instructor stood at the door and handed us a clipboard and almost shouted at us to fill out this card thing. Then he shows us the intense schedule on the board that specified our two 10 min breaks and one 30 min lunch break and instructed us to write down this 9am-5pm schedule!  "Is this guy for real?"...  I'm like "oooooh man this guy takes his job way too seriously."

After everyone got all settled, he goes, "Good Morning" (like suuuuuper loud!) Uhhhh we all just sat there and I think one person said it back.... He said it again and I realized he wanted all of us to say "Good Morning" all loud like him. 

"Ugghhh c'mon guy!!!..... It's 9am on a SUNDAY!"

So here's how I saw it... I can either sit here all day (for 8 hours) and hate this guy..... ooooorrrrrrrr I can make the best out of it and participate.  So I participated, we shared traffic stories, and cop stories, he showed us some traffic related videos and at the end of the day his cheesy jokes really weren't that bad... He WAS a nice guy and he did take his job too seriously but you gotta respect him for that.  This man truly loves what he does and I could never hate on that! Happy Monday!

Miley Cyrus turns 16...About 7 weeks early

Sweet sixteen? Not just yet ...

But Miley Cyrus - who turns 16 on Nov. 23 - got an early jump on her birthday celebration Sunday night with a special bash at Disneyland.

"They say it's the happiest place on Earth," she said of the themepark, which was shut down exclusively for her.

The evening started with Cyrus and pals like Tyra Banks, David Archuleta and Demi Lovato strolling down a large purple carpet.

Angelina shows off her new ink!

As could be expected, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt proved quite an eyeful at Saturday's New York premiere of her new movie. Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood.

But, in fact, there was even more to meet the eye on the leading lady: two new tattoos - to complement her ink indicating global birth coordinates of children Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh.

Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky Marry in Manhattan

Howard Stern and his longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky were married in New York City on Friday night, according to guests who attended the celebration.

The guest list for the wedding, held at the restaurant Le Cirque, included Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel and wife Katie Lee, Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman and Stern's radio co-host, Robin Quivers.

Today's Topic: Baby Talk

So last night I'm watching re-runs of Sex and the City and Samantha was talking about how she was having an amazing night with this guy until he started using "baby talk".  Woooooah! This got me thinking, I don't think I've ever dated a "baby talker". In the episode all the girls were pretty disturbed by the idea of a man  "ooooie shoookie baby goooing you" and I think I would be too.

I think only girls can get away with the "baby talk"... I would think that men would consider it cute or maybe some would find it annoying.  Either way I think ladies have a way better chance pulling off the baby talk than men do.  What do you think? You know.... now that I   think about it, I would allow ONE Pet Name... that's it !  LOL

Mindy McCready will voluntarily surrender to authorities Tuesday to serve 60 days in a Tennessee jail for a probation violation.

The country singer, 32, was arrested for violating her probation for prescription drug fraud in June.

Leonardo DiCaprio made a surprise visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, with his latest project in hand. And no, it wasn't his newest blockbuster film.

This time the politically savvy actor was promoting his new public service announcement to increase voter registration. DiCaprio worked with pals Tobey Maguire, Forest Whitaker and Will.I.Am to produce the PSA, which was filmed a week and a half ago at his home.
